Volume II – Cellists with a year of death 1789 – 1839

0,50

The order of the information on each cellist – once you have downloaded the volume – is as follows; it should be easy to follow!

Name // Dates // Country // Positions // Premieres given-Dedications received // Music/Publications // Friendships // Anecdotes // Johnstone-Music article (if applicable)

Many details – even the inclusion of dates themselves – are sometimes confusing, because there are often different sources giving different accounts of the same facts. Johnstone-Music studies these; although we give the information we believe to be most true, we eliminate ourselves from whatever responsibility or error in these contents – all is to use at your discretion!

Many cellists are accompanied by photos whose origins we have not been able to trace. We imagine that any owner could see the enormous interest of this unique dictionary and we could indeed include the name of the copyright holder; however if any owner manifests his or her disagreement we would take off the said photo.
