“Where is Love?” is a song from the Tony Award-winning British musical Oliver! and the 1968 film Oliver! based on the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. The musical was written by Lionel Bart and was first staged in London’s West End in 1960. David Johnstone has arranged/composed a miniature piece based on the melodic fragments of this song. Although short (a couple of minutes) it can be a useful tranquil moment in a cello trio performance; in no moment does the volume pass ‘mf’ yet does make an impact on auduences…

This musical creation was originally written for: HelloCello! (Spain)
