Brief Information:

A traditional melody found in the north of the Navarre region (in the foothills of the Aralar Mountains) and hereby reproduced by Johnstone with a little introduction and Coda. It is available on Johnstone-Music. This theme is now used for a much more substantial work – ‘Fantasy Variations on a Basque Theme’. It is quite difficult, though making an impressive concert work – however, only really suitable for very advanced students and professional players.
