Excellently prepared editions, very clear to read. This volume contains:

BWV 824 – Allemande, prepared by Ernesto Schmied for solo cello in two tonalities:
A) in G Major
B) in C Major (easier)

BWV 1004 – Chaconne from the D minor Partita, in a very virtuoso edition made by Robert Emile Bockmühl – only fit for virtuosi!

BWV 1013 – this was originally a partita for solo flute, and here is produced twice:
A) – in D Minor (originally a trombone transcription, arranger unknown, but the tenor clef insistence is somewhat annoying for the lower registers!)
B) – in G Minor (much kinder on the eyes to read!)

BWV 565 – Toccata, from Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, arranged from organ for solo cello in a virtuoso edition by Varun Soontornniyomkij. The original key is maintained.
