“O Mille Volte” is an antiphonal madrigal by the late Renaissance Italian composer Luca Marenzio (c. 1553–1599), one of the most famous Italian composers of the late Renaissance, known for his many madrigals.

It is a piece for multiple voices that is characterized by a style of composing where different groups of voices sing in a call-and-response or alternating manner, a technique that was popular during the period. The madrigal is a prime example of Marenzio’s skill in using vivid musical illustration to convey the text, which describes the intense emotions of love, is depicted through a variety of musical moods and actions.
