Humoresque, Op. 101, No. 7 by Antonín Dvořák is a famous, moderately-to-play fun piece. Originally for solo piano (number 7 in a cycle of 8 pieces which was similarly called ‘Humoreskes’), it was written in 1894 at the end of Dvořák’s time in the United States – during a summer visit to Bohemia.

It is known for its memorable tune and contrasting sections. It has since been arranged for many other instruments in hundreds of ways!
Movements or sections: A miniature in ternary form (A-B-A), marked ‘Grazioso’
Instrumentation: ENSEMBLE OF SEVEN CELLOS (first cellist is the solo cellist) AND THREE DOUBLE-BASSES
