A composer and conductor, Iñigo Casalí was born in Pamplona on October 20th, 1972. He holds a degree in Musicology from the University of Salamanca, and is Professor of recorder and Choir training at the Pablo Sarasate Professional Music Conservatory (Navarre, Spain).

His music could be summed up in two words: emotion and melody. It stems from a classical idiom and a Baroque and Renaissance tradition, but incorporates elements and lessons from all subsequent eras, from opera to pop, from popular music to the avant-garde. His music is highly descriptive and immediately connects with the public.
