BEETHOVEN – Initial theme Extract of the Bagatelle ‘Fur Elisa’ – TWO CELLOS (easy)

Other Identification:
‘Für Elise’, officially titled Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor, is one of the most famous piano pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, written on April 27th, 1810. However, it wasn’t published until 1867, some 40 years after his death, when musicologist Ludwig Nohl found the manuscript.

The exact identity of “Elise” is a mystery, though it’s believed to be a mistranscription of “Therese,” a woman Beethoven wished to marry, or possibly another woman named Elise.
