BEETHOVEN – Minuet, WoO 10 No. 2 (c.1795) – THREE CELLOS (easy)

Other Identification:
Beethoven’s “Minuet in G Major” is a famous and accessible piano piece, technically the second minuet from his set of six, WoO 10, No. 2. Curiously it was originally written for orchestra, but only the piano version is known today.

The piece is a popular choice for beginner pianists due to its moderate tempo and clear melodies.
Movements or sections:
It is written in a graceful early Classical style, and follows a standard ABA form (Minuet-Trio-Minuet).
Moderato, meaning it should be played at a medium speed, and the lilting 3/4 almost gives this a waltz-like feel!
Instrumentation: TRIO OF THREE CELLOS
Arranged by David Johnstone

1 PDF, with all three individual parts
