OPERA MINIATURES for the Intermediate Cellist No.4 – Aria (‘Fifteen, my number is’) from The Barber of Seville (Rossini) – THREE CELLOS

Other Identification:
Famous Opera Miniatures for the Intermediate Cellist
Movements or sections:
This piece is part of a small series of five musical numbers based upon well-known opera extracts.
Instrumentation: TRIO OF THREE CELLOS
Arranged by David Johnstone

1 PDF, containing both the score and parts
Approximate difficulty: MEDIUM
They are designated as ‘intermediate’; no thumb position is required in any part, but the first cellist does regularly read in tenor clef and the performer does need to be fairly fluent in the 5th, 6th and 7th positions. The other two parts – Cellos 2 and 3 – are much simpler, but are enjoyable because they add much to the writing and do feel important!
