JARRE – Lara’s theme (from the film ‘Doctor Zhivago’) – DUO VIOLIN AND CELLO

Other Identification:
“Lara’s Theme” is the main leitmotif from the 1965 film Doctor Zhivago, composed by Maurice Jarre. The theme became a major hit, also known as “Somewhere, My Love,” and appears in various versions, including an instrumental score by Jarre and orchestral arrangements. The composition was spurred by director David Lean’s desire for a personal love theme after an intended Russian folk song was unavailable.
