Together with Le Grand Tango this is a large success on the Johnstone-Music web site… the original song ‘Adios Nonino’ was worked on by Piazzolla’s cellist José Bragato and from his large-scale adaptation David Johnstone has made a full string orchestra version. Coupling this with Le Grand Tango makes a perfect concerto appearance instead of repeating the usual concertos!
