Other Identification: This music is just one part of the large series ‘European Romantic Pieces’ for String Quartet, some 9 works, and lasting some 45 minutes. The motivation for these compositions by David Johnstone is to unite old and new Europe in a ‘Journey Through Europe in Quartet’.
Spanish Sarabande: the Sarabande of Johnstone mixes the sensation of an old dance with the full romanticism of a Viennese Adagietto.
