This series of recital/concert pieces for four solo cellos are dedicated to the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid (founded in 1830), and in particular to the Head of Strings: Cecilia de Montserrat Campa Ansó, and to all the professors of the Cello Seminar in recognition of their generous work for the new generation of Spanish cellists and the emphasis placed on the performance of marvellous cello ensemble music!
