The “Hungarian March” by Berlioz, also known as the “Rákóczi March,” is an orchestral piece based on a traditional Hungarian folk tune from the time of Ferencz Rákóczy. It was later included as a popular and exciting orchestral excerpt in his work ‘La damnation de Faust’.
