CINK – Andante Religioso – CELLO OR VIOLIN, AND PIANO

Other Identification:
Little is known of Antoni Cink. He was born in Pibram (Czech) but seems to have been better known professionally in Poland. Apart from his cellist career, he was professor at the Krakow Conservatoire, and also a professor at the Warsaw Musical Union.

As a performer he held the principal cello position in the Elberfield Municipal Orchestra, Germany; simultaneously cello teacher at Rauchenecker’s Music School (Elberfield). He was the cellist of the Hermann Quartet (Warsaw).

He was an arranger of high quality and also composer; albeit an occasional composer. It is a shame that so little survives today.
