“Le Bavolet Flottant” is a harpsichord piece by the French Baroque composer François Couperin (1668-1733), meaning “The Floating Bonnet” or “The Waving Scarf” in English. It is the thirteenth piece from his second book of harpsichord pieces and is considered a good example of the “Galant” style of music, which implies a sense of movement.
