Federico García Lorca (1898 – 1936) was a Spanish composer, although he is even more famous as a poet and playwright. He was a highly skilled classical pianist who was deeply influenced by composers like Chopin and Debussy, and he became passionate about flamenco music, collaborating with the composer Manuel de Falla. His musical background heavily influenced his writing, with some of his early works like “Nocturne” and “Ballade” showing a strong connection to his musical roots.
