GRÜTZMACHER – Daily Exercises, Op.67 – SOLO CELLO

Other Identification: Written probably in the 1880s, it was considered a useful teaching tool in German conservatoires (Tägliche Übungen), and early in the 20th century became well-known across national borders. Hugo Becker edited the work for publication in Leipzig, and proposed it wholeheartedly. Willem Willeke also prepared it for the U.S. Schirmer edition shortly before World War I.
There are many types of excercises, but scales and arpeggios form the mayor part.
