J-M – Pop Piece based on ‘Get Back’ (Beatles) – FOUR CELLOS

Other Identification:
“Get Back” by The Beatles is a 1969 single and the title track of the 1970 album Let It Be, which originated from a January 1969 session intended to write songs and perform live for the first time in over two years. Written by Paul McCartney and credited to the Lennon-McCartney partnership, the single was released with Billy Preston.

“Get Back” was the Beatles’ first single release in true stereo in the US. In the UK, the Beatles’ singles remained monaural until the following release, “The Ballad of John and Yoko”. It was also the only Beatles single to debut on the UK singles chart at number one.
