JOHNSTONE – Sonata for OBOE SOLO

‘Sonata for Oboe Solo’ was written in 2008 for oboe, an instrument with a repertoire somewhat limited in works without the accompaniment of piano. This work uses all the playing register of the instrument in a composition that is sometimes complex, but which is of great propulsion and direct projection.
