MOZART – Morgengesang (Song Miniature from the ‘Magic Flute’) – THREE CELLOS

Other Identification:
Morgengesang is from a trio in “Die Zauberflöte” (The Magic Flute), for two sopranos and alto. It translates as ‘Morning Song’ or ‘Morning Singing’. Transposed for three cellos it makes for a delightful little instrumental miniature.
Movements or sections:
Song, marked ‘Etwas langsam’ (Somewhat slow)
Instrumentation:
TRIO OF THREE CELLOS
….
2 PDFs, one of the score, and the other of the parts.
Approximate difficulty:
It might be classed as medium difficult, but truthfully only the first cello part ventures up to fifth and sixth position, and is in tenor clef. The other two parts are technically much easier – though to play Mozart very well is always quite hard!
