“Adiós Nonino” is a tango piece composed by the Argentine musician and composer Astor Piazzolla in 1959, in homage to his father, Vicente Piazzolla.
Considered one of his most emblematic works, along with Libertango, it was recognized by Piazzolla himself, who said in an interview with his daughter Diana: “(It’s) the most beautiful piece I’ve ever written… I don’t know if I’ll ever improve on it, I don’t think so.”
