‘Scheherazade’ is the legendary Persian queen and storyteller from One Thousand and One Nights (also known as The Arabian Nights). She marries a vengeful Sultan who beheads his brides each morning, and she saves her life by telling him captivating stories each night, pausing at a cliffhanger to make him wait for the conclusion. This continues for 1,001 nights, during which the Sultan falls in love with her and spares her life.
