STEVENS, Mort – Concert Miniature based on ‘Hawaii Five-O’ – 8 CELLOS or CELLO ORCHESTRA

Other Identification:
The iconic “Hawaii Five-O” theme music was composed by Morton Stevens for the original 1968 series, and it became a massive hit, reaching number one on the charts. The music effectively uses cultural fusion, blending Western orchestral elements with indigenous instruments like the ukulele to evoke a strong sense of place and identity.

A popular instrumental version was recorded by The Ventures, which became one of the band’s biggest hits. For the 2010 reboot, the theme was re-recorded by Brian Tyler and Keith Power.
