Sir Arthur Sullivan’s anthem, “I Will Lay Me Down in Peace,” is a sacred choral work for four voices (SATB) composed around 1868 and published by Novello in 1910. The text is from Psalm 4:9, and while originally composed for men’s voices, it was arranged for mixed voices by John E. West. The anthem is known for its reverent and lyrical setting of the scripture.
