1 PDF, with both parts.
Approximate difficulty:
The version of David Johnstone has been made to present one piece in especial: Comptine d’un autre été – as a small concert duo which share the melodies between the cello and the piano. The cello writing is nearly all in 1st position, with just a couple of inclusions of 2nd and 4th positions. Just one passage in 16th-notes on the cello might test novel cellists for questions of rapidness, but the rest surely comfortable to almost all, whilst the piano part is also slightly easier than the piano original. However, this music will be equally effective when interpreted by experienced performers too….
