Antonio Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto in A minor, is the 6th concerto from the composer’s influential collection, L’estro armonico (‘The Harmonic Inspiration’), Op.3, published in 1711. It is a solo violin concerto in three movements, showcasing both the lyrical and virtuosic aspects of the Baroque style, with a melancholic minor key and energetic outer movements framing a calmer slow movement.
