“This story, about a magical cello which can only be played by an honest person with true sincerity. This video emphasizes reading, impressionistic art, travel to the City of Venice, Italy, music featuring “The Song of the Birds” for solo cello and orchestra by Pablo Casals, violin makers or Luthiers. The video was created, and used with permission, as a 2020 pandemic project for children, grandparents, teachers, for the Read Across America Urbana, Illinois, USA website in March 2020. A colleague in Spain commented it would be a wonderful story to help children learn to read and speak English.
