Johnstone arranges the famous Mahler “Adagietto” for large cello ensembles
David Johnstone has arranged the famous “Adagietto” of Mahler for large ensembles of cellists. This version has eight cello voices, and can be performed by either 8 solo cellists or by an orchestra of cellos. It can be considered one of the most complex transciptions of Johnstone. All German words are translated into English in
