Here you can find many recordings - recent and old - of performances of David Johnstone with his cello. In many cases these are LIVE recordings without having been mixed in the studio, but they are valuable. These recordings feature all periods of classical music (Baroque onwards) and varied popular styles from the 20th and 21st centuries. However, if you are looking for David playing his own pieces then these are generally in the following section “David Johnstone - Composer”. In this list we try to give the works in composer name order, and at the end (those starting with “z-“) those pieces without composer name or where the tune is better known for its title.
