LENNON – Popular Piece based on “Imagine”- this music has been specially produced for Three Cellos. Also with the possibility of being rehearsed/performed by Cello Orchestra or larger cello ensemble.

General difficulty of the music – other brief Information:

MEDIUM – when played in ensemble rather more comfortable, as the double-stoppings can be played divisi. The C Major setting helps intonation. The first cello part has thumb position passages, but without any nasty leaps!

‘Imagine’ is one of the most famous songs of the twentieth century, written shortly after the break up of ‘The Beatles’ – in this song although Lennon is solely credited he was in fact helped by Yoko Ono.
